Ceylon at the 1952 Summer Olympics
Ceylon, which bears the name Sri Lanka today, took part in the Summer Olympic Games in 1952 in Helsinki, Finland, with a delegation of five athletes (all men ) to seven competitions in four sports part. Medals could not be won. It was after the Summer Olympics of 1948, the second participation in the Olympic Summer Games for the country.
