CFXY-FM

105.3 The Fox ( CFXY -FM) is an English-language Canadian radio station in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. The transmitter sends an Active rock format and operated by Bell Media. The transmitter is operated at a power of 78 kW. The towers are located at the intersection Hamtown Corner, northwest of Fredericton.

History

CFXY took broadcasting on July 15, 1983. At that time, the transmitter CKHJ -FM operated on the frequency 93.1 MHz. In 1992, the station had been authorized to change the transmitter frequency from 93.1 FM to 105.3 FM.
