Chad Allan (musician)

Chad Allan ( born March 29, 1943 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, actually Allan Peter Stanley Kowbel ) is a Canadian rock musician (vocals and guitar), who was known primarily as a member of the band The Guess Who.

Life

In the late 1950s, Allan slept with his stage name and formed the rock and roll band "Chad Allan & the Silvertones ". The group changed hands several times and was named successively "Chad Allan & the Reflections" and "Chad Allan & The Expressions". The final line -existed with Allan from Randy Bachman (guitar), Jim Kale ( bass), Garry Peterson (drums) and Bob Ashley ( piano ).

In 1965 she brought the Canadian label Quality Records released their first album Shakin ' All Over. (Eng. Guess who? ) On the plates - As a band name printed the company " Guess Who Chad Allan and the Expressions? ". In the decoupled single was only " Guess Who? " - The name caught on, The Guess Who were one of the most successful Canadian bands.

Allan took the group another album Hey Ho on, then he went back to his education and went to university. In 1971 he became a member of the band by Randy Bachman, who had also left The Guess Who. For this band, " Brave Belt ," was later Bachman -Turner Overdrive.
