Chad Allen (actor)

Chad Allen ( born June 5, 1974 as Chad Allen Lazzari in Cerritos, California, USA) is an American actor.

His television debut came at the age of seven years in an episode of Simon & Simon. Another series role he played from 1986 to 1988 as David Witherspoon alongside Shannen Doherty and Wilford Brimley in Our House (AKA Our House ). This was followed by the successful television series in the U.S. My Two Dad's (1988-1990) on the side of Staci Keanan. After that he appeared in another series as a guest performer, including The Wonder Years and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

In 1993 he signed for the role of Matthew Cooper in the pilot episode of the series Dr. Quinn - Medicine Woman. Chad Allen wanted to play only in the pilot film to be financed by the Gage his college education. But Dr. Quinn - Medicine Woman was a success and ran a total of six years. Chad Allen remained until the end there, but stepped into the subsequent TV movies no longer on the series.

After the end of Dr. Quinn - Medicine Woman, he focused on theater games and came back as a guest performer in a series on, including Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten and Charmed - Magical Witches.

After the tabloid press published pictures of him where he kissed another man, to Chad Allen outed as gay in 1996. Since then, he is an LGBT activist.

Chad Allen has a twin sister named Chastity.
