Chad Wiseman

Chad Wiseman ( born March 25, 1981 in Burlington, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Since 2009 he plays for the Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League on the position of the left winger. In the National Hockey League, he played for the San Jose Sharks and New York Rangers.

Career

Wiseman first played three years from 1998 to 2000 at the Mississauga IceDogs in the Ontario Hockey League. Meanwhile, he had already been selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2000 by the San Jose Sharks in the eighth round at 246th position, but moved within the OHL Priority Draft 2000 again within the OHL Plymouth Whalers to.

For the 2001/02 season, the Sharks committed the winger and first put him at the Cleveland Barons in the American Hockey League. There he spent two seasons and also came here to four inserts in the NHL during the 2002/ 03 season. Before the start of the season 2003 / 04, the Sharks transferred him in exchange for the Swede Nils Ekman to the New York Rangers. For the 2007/08 season Wiseman moved to Europe in the DEL for the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg, where he received a one-year contract. Because of injuries, he was able to accumulate only in 28 games, but scoring 23 points scorer. After the season, he returned to North America, where he signed a contract with the New Jersey Devils and for their farm team, which played in the AHL Lowell Devils. During the following season he was engaged by the Springfield Falcons.
