Chadormalu ( farsi: چادرملو ) is an iron ore mine in the province of Yazd in central Iran with a settlement for the staff belonging to the Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company.
The mine is located in an otherwise uninhabited part of central Iran Dasht -e Kavir desert 180 km northeast of Yazd, about 40 km from the road Yazd - Tabas away.
The ore deposits were discovered in Chadormalu 1940. The construction of the mine was started in 1994. The promotion began in 1999. During the same year the work was connected by a line to Meybod with the Iranian rail network.
