Chaloem Phra Kiat District, Nan
Amphoe Phra Kiat Chaloem ( Thai: อำเภอ เฉลิมพระเกียรติ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Nan. The Nan province is located in the northern region of Thailand.
Geography
Neighboring districts are (from the south clockwise): Amphoe Bo the Kluea, Pua and Thung Chang Nan Province. In the north and east of the province of Laos is Sayaburi.
History
On 5 December 1996, the Tambon Huai were to start from Amphoe Thung Chang Kon and the Tambon Khun Nan from Amphoe Bo Kluea separated by the new district Phra Kiat Chaloem. He is one of five counties in Thailand with the same name. All were founded on the same day to celebrate the 50th Jubilee of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX. ).
Management
Amphoe Wiang Sa is divided into two subdistricts ( tambon), which continued in 22 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.
There are also two " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
