Chaloupky
Chaloupky ( German Chaloupek ) is a municipality with 445 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. The village is located five kilometers south-west of Hořovice and belongs to Okres Beroun.
Geography
Chaloupky is located on the northern edge of the Brdywaldes. Neighboring towns are Ptákov, Komarov, Kocanda, Mrtník and Hvozdec in the north, and the Neřežín Truppenübungsplatz Brd with the settlement Hrachoviště in the east, Malá Víska in the south, Kvan, Kozojedy and Zaječov in the southwest and Kleštěnice and Jivina in the West.
South-east of the town lies on the site of the training area the ruins Valdek.
History
The first written mention of the built by German miners and loggers settlement Chalupy pod Skalou took place in 1648.
Community structure
The municipality consists of the villages Chaloupky Chaloupky ( Chaloupek ) and Neřežín ( Nerscheschin ). Basic settlement units are Chaloupky, Kocanda, Neřežín and Ptákov.

- Valdek castle ruins, accessible only on weekends and holidays because of the situation on the military terrain
