Chameleon is the sixth album by the American funk / soul trio Labelle. This album was the second which Labelle published in 1976 under her record label Epic Records. Patti LaBelle In autobiography Do not Block The Blessings, she explained that she planned to release a sequel to Chameleon entitled Shaman with LaBelle, but the album was never produced. The trio took no more works by 2008 her comeback Back to Now appeared. Chameleon reached number 94 on the Billboard 200 and # 21 of the R & B charts. Two songs were released as singles and reached the charts. The first single Get You Somebody New reached number 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Is not It A Shame peaked at number 18 R & B charts. Is not It A Shame was founded in 2004 by rapper Nelly on his hit song My Place feat. Jaheim sampled.
