Champenois dialect

Champenois ( Champenois: champaignat ) is an entity belonging to the Langues d' oïl language that is spoken primarily in the Champagne region, but also in Belgium. In Belgium, it is spoken in the villages Vresse -sur -Semois, Membre, Bohan and the south of the province of Luxembourg. The professor Bernard Cerquiglini she holds on as a regional language. She is recognized as a regional language of Wallonia. Through the influence of the French language is almost extinct.
