Champion Aircraft

Champion Aircraft Corporation was an American manufacturer of aircraft. The company was founded in 1954 by " Robert Brown".

History

At its headquarters in Osceola, Wisconsin, began in 1954 with the production of Champion 7 series that Brown had acquired by Aeronca Aircraft Corporation. In the 1950s and the 1960s developed Champion Aircraft Corporation distinctly upgraded series of light aircraft. Alone of type 402 Lancer total of 36 units were built from 1963 until 1965. The end of 1970 Champion Aircraft of Bellanca Aircraft Corporation was acquired, which continued the Decathlon Series series.
