Location

Champlain is located in the far northeast of the state. The northern boundary of the municipality at the same time forms the state border of the United States to Canada. Montreal is located about 70 km north Champlain and can be reached via a direct path leading to almost Highway. In the east, the city is bordered by Lake Champlain, through which runs the border with Vermont.
