Chandler Parsons

Chandler Parsons ( born October 25, 1988 in Casselberry, Florida ) is an American professional basketball player. Currently, he plays in the position of Small Forwards for the NBA team the Houston Rockets.

In his time at Lake Howell High School in Winter Park Parsons first drew attention to himself with his basketball skills. From 2007 to 2011 he played for the University of Florida. In the 2010/11 season he was voted player of the year in the Southeastern Conference. This year, he scored an average of 11.3 points 7.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists. In his last two years, his team qualified for the NCAA tournament.

After his college years he volunteered to join the NBA Draft 2011. There he was selected by the Houston Rockets to 38th. During the lockout before the season 2011/12 Parsons completed three games for the French team Cholet Basket, but returned to start the season in the United States back. In his first season in the NBA he was in 57 of 63 matches played in the starting lineup. With an average of 28.6 minutes of play, he scored 9.5 points and 4.8 rebounds fetched.
