Chandra West

Chandra West ( born December 31, 1970 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian actress.

Life and achievements

West studied dramatic arts at Concordia University. She made her debut in a major role in the Canadian TV comedy True Confections of 1991, a year later received three nominations for the Genie Award. In the horror film Night Terrors (1993 ), she appeared in a major role opposite Robert Englund. In the action film Universal Soldier 2 - Brothers in Arms (1998) and Universal Soldier 3 - Unfinished Business (1998) she played the girlfriend of the protagonist Luc Devreux ( Matt Battaglia ).

In the sci-fi thriller Life in a Day (1999 ) West took over the role of a basis of a scientific experiment rapidly aging woman; an additional role played in this film Linda Kash. In the comedy Something More (1999) she played a starring role; in one of the supporting roles Jennifer Beals is seen. For this role, West was nominated in 2001 for the Video Premiere Award. Another starring role followed in the horror movie White Noise - Screams from Beyond ( 2005). In the film drama Badland she played a restaurant owner, who enters into a relationship with a war veteran (Jamie Draven ), who after the murder of his wife ( Vinessa Shaw) hidden.

West 100 of Maxim magazine was listed in 2002 on the Hot List. She is married to the film producer and director Mark Tinker since 2005. The actress lives in Los Angeles.
