Chandra Wilson

Chandra Wilson ( born August 27, 1969 in Houston, Texas ) is an American actress.

At the age of five she was the first time on a theater stage. Since 1989, Chandra Wilson makes films for television and cinema. So it seemed, for example in 1993 with the film Philadelphia in the supporting role of Chandra. In 2001 she got her first major role in the television series Bob Patterson. They also appeared in several commercials, among others, for Burger King.

Since 2005 she plays the role of Dr. Miranda Bailey in the U.S. series Grey's Anatomy. In 2007, she was in a television series for this role to the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress - Drama awarded. In 2009 it was given a double nomination at the Emmys for the part of Miranda Bailey and starring in Don McBreartys TV movie Accidental Friendship.

Chandra Wilson is the mother of a son (* 2005) and two daughters (* 1992 and 1994).
