Changchun Yatai F.C.
Changchun Yatai is a football club based in Changchun in China. The club plays in the Chinese Super League, the top division of the country. Play their home games in the club from Changchun City Stadium.
Club history
The club was founded in 1996 by the Yatai Group, a conglomerate of Changchun. The Group is also the eponym of the association. Changchun Yatai began in the 3rd Chinese league and succeeded in becoming not until 2000. It was only through the purchase of a higher league playing club Bayi Chaoneng could be ascended in 2000. 2006 saw the rise in the Chinese Super League, followed in 2007 by the first championship of the club. By winning the championship for the first time you could qualify for an international competition. The club took the 2008 AFC Champions League. After completion of the group stage Changchun Yatai took second place and missed reaching the next round just barely. After completion of the Chinese Super League 2008 season, the club finished in sixth place and was in the following season with a score of 50 and only one point behind the winners, Beijing Guoan, runner-up. In the 2010 season, the club missed the other hand, with space 9 to participate in an international competition.
