Changhai County

Changhai county (Chinese长海县) is a county in China which belongs to the administrative area of the city of Dalian in Liaoning Province. It has an area of 119 km ² and has a population 74,000 (2010). The circle consists of twelve hundred islands in the Yellow Sea to the east of Liaodong peninsula, at Changshan Islands.

The capital and seat of government is the people Community Dongshan (东山 社区) the large village Dachangshandao on the homonymous main island.

The airport of Changhai also located on the island Dachangshandao.

Administrative Divisions

The circle Changhai consists of two large municipalities and three municipalities. These are:

• Greater community Dachangshandao (大 长 山 岛 镇), the seat of county government;
• Greater community Zhangzidao (獐子 岛 镇);
• Community Guanglu (广 鹿 乡);
• Community Haiyang (海洋 乡);
• Community Xiaochangshan (小 长 山乡).
