Channel Express

Channel Express was a British airline based in Bournemouth.

History

The airline was founded in January 1978. Under the name of Express Air Services flew daily to the Channel Islands. Only after contracting with Royal Mail the name of the airline in 1983 was changed to Channel Express.

In the meantime, the company has been received in the UK airline Jet2.com, until 2006, however, still flying machines with the old paint.

Destinations

Channel Express launched scheduled flights between Bournemouth and the Channel Islands as well as cargo flights. She also was active in charter service.
