Chantel Jones

Chantel Nicole Jones (born 20 July 1988) is an American soccer goalkeeper who has stood the 2013 season at Washington Stealth in the National Women 's Soccer League under contract.

Career

Jones ran for the W - League hopefuls Fredericksburg Impact in 2011. For the 2012 season the Pepsideild kvenna she signed her first professional contract with the club Þór Akureyri Iceland, with whom she celebrated winning the championship at the end of the season and was personally honored as player of the year. Beginning of 2013, Jones was hired as a so-called free agent for the first season of the newly formed NWSL of Washington. Your league debut as a representation of Ashlyn Harris on May 19, 2013 against the Portland Thorns FC. After the end of the NWSL season, she moved on loan to the Australian first division club Perth Glory where she stood in all twelve games of the season in goal. After the end of the W- League season 2013/14 Jones returned to Washington.

National

Jones was part of various U.S. youth national teams. She participated in the U- 20 World Cup in 2008 and the Pan American Games in 2007 in part.
