Chaos Communication Camp

The Chaos Communication Camp is an international meeting of hackers, held near Berlin since 1999 every four years. It is organized by the Chaos Computer Club (CCC ), which also hosts the annual Chaos Communication Congress. The first two meetings in 1999 and 2003 were held on the Paulshof in Altlandsberg. The third camp was held from 8 to 12 August 2007, and the fourth camp from 10th to August 14th, 2011 on the grounds of the Aviation Museum Finowfurt instead.

Description

The Chaos Communication Camp offers German and English information sessions on technical and social issues, such as privacy, freedom of information and data security. It is supplemented by workshops and about 30 " Villages " that should correspond tent cities with a thematic focus. 2007, there was a charter flight from the Def -Con conference in Las Vegas over Frankfurt am Main on the camp - site within the project Hackers on a Plane.

In an " Art & Beauty " section above all artistic areas of technology such as light installations and music will be presented.
