Charco del Palo

Charco del Palo is a town on the northeast coast of the Canary Island of Lanzarote. This settlement is a small tourist town about 20 kilometers north of the island 's capital, Arrecife, divided between the municipalities of Haria and Teguise. There are in Teguise counted 204 permanent residents in Haria and 25 inhabitants (as of 2011).

Charco del Palo is the only resort since December 4, 1980 an official nudist approval, making it the naturist center of the island of Lanzarote. At this rugged coast there are no sandy beaches, but it has created small, tidal natural pools.
