Charietto

Charietto († 365 ) was a Teuton of unusual height and bravery, which was originally the leader of a band of robbers, but later peacefully in Augusta Treverorum (Trier) settled. To do against the increasingly frequent raids of the east of the Rhine Germans living something he struggled initially to 355 on their own, later in the service of the Roman Caesar Julian in Gaul against the invading marauders. He fell as 365 Comes in the fight against the Alamanni.
