Charilaos " Charis " Pappas (Greek Χάρης Παππάς, born May 12, 1983 in Kavala, Greece) is a Greek football player.

Career

Pappas usually plays as an attacking midfielder, he can be used there at different positions according to his former 1860 sports director Miroslav Stević.

Association

Pappas was active in his youth as an athlete, especially in the 400 -meter run. On the advice of friends, he decided as a 18 -year-old to start playing football at a professional level, and played from the summer of 2001 for half a year in the fourth division Orfeas Eleftheroupolis. He moved to second division club Panserraikos, where he came 20 times by the end of the insert and scored a goal in early 2002. In summer 2007, he moved to AEK Athens, where he was used eight times in the following season and was able to select two hits. In the 2008 /09 season he played for Skoda Xanthi, where he scored two goals in 20 games. In the summer of 2009, he left Greece and signed a one year contract with an option for a further year with the German second division club 1860 Munich. He came in 23 league games for use, scoring three goals. He was once used in the DFB Cup. At the end of the season the TSV let 1860 pass this option so that Pappas left the club after a year and was awarded a contract with the Greek second division Panetolikos JRC. In the following two years, he moved successively to the Greek second division club Panserraikos Olympiakos Volos and Niki Volou. In the 2013/14 season Pappas is the former Bundesliga club KFC Uerdingen 05 were under contract and played for the blue and red in the Regionalliga West; In January 2014 his contract was terminated and he went back to his homeland.
