Charles Anderson (equestrian)

Charles Howard Anderson ( born October 24, 1914 in California, † March 27, 1993 in Frankfurt am Main ) was an American eventer and Olympic champion.

1938 graduated from Charles Anderson, the United States Military Academy at West Point. During World War II he served with the airborne troops of the U.S. Army.

Anderson started in 1948 at the Olympic Games in London in eventing. In Reno Palisade he won in the team standings with Robert Borg and Frank Henry the gold medal in the individual competition he finished fourth.
