Charles Gitonga

Charles Gitonga ( born October 5, 1971 in Nyeri ) is a former Kenyan sprinter.

At the World Athletics Championships 1991 in Tokyo, he retired about 400 m from the inlet port. About the same distance he won at the Commonwealth Games in 1994 in Victoria.

In each case, he reached the quarterfinals at the 1995 World Cup in Gothenburg over 200 m and at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta about 400 m.
