Charles Gross

Life

Charles Gross studied for his bachelor's degree at Harvard University nor the New England Conservatory and at Mills College, where he subsequently also taught. During his time in the United States Army, he was arranger for the West Point band. After 1963, the Oscar winning documentary Robert Frost: A Lover's Quarrel with the World composed the music, Gross was in the following decades, above all, as a film composer for television films like The Burning Bed, Burning fate and A Family Thing - known brothers reluctantly.
