Charles Hamelin

Charles Hamelin ( born April 14, 1984 in Lévis, Quebec ) is a Canadian Shorttracker.

Hamelin began at the age of ten years, with the ice skating. He lives in Sainte -Julie and starts for the club Montréal - International. Since 2004 he is a member of Canada's short track speed skating national team and is coached by Olympic champion Derrick Campbell. At the World Junior Championships 2003 Hamelin won a silver medal in the individual distances of 500 and 1500 meters. In the World Cup he made his debut the following year and was at the World Cup in Bormio, Italy 's first top ranking (Rank 3) celebrate.
