Charles II, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz

Charles II, Duke of Mecklenburg [- Strelitz ] ( born October 10, 1741 Mirow, † November 6, 1816 in Neustrelitz ) was from 1794 to the said title, from June 28, 1815 with the title of Grand Duke of Mecklenburg reigning prince in Mecklenburg -Strelitz.

Life

Karl (aka: Karl Ludwig Friedrich, also Carl ) was a son of apanagierten in Mirow prince of the same name from a collateral line of the ducal house of Mecklenburg- Strelitz and his wife Elisabeth Albertine, born Princess of Saxe -Hildburghausen.
