Charles Linglet

Charles Linglet ( born June 22, 1982 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Belarusian- Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with the KHL Medveščak Zagreb in the Kontinental Hockey League since May 2013.

Career

Charles Linglet began his career as a hockey player with Drakkar de Baie- Comeau, for which he was active from 1999 to 2003, the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL. Then he played from 2003 to 2005 for the Alaska Aces in the ECHL. In parallel, the winger also played in the 2003/04 season seven games for the Utah Grizzlies of the American Hockey League. From 2005 to 2009 he was with the Peoria Rivermen in the AHL under contract, in which he for the Las Vegas Wranglers played in the season 2005/ 06 in parallel in the ECHL and in the course of the 2008/ 09 joined the AHL League rival Springfield Falcons. For their cooperation partners Edmonton Oilers he graduated in the 2009/10 season five games in the National Hockey League.

For the season 2010/11 Linglet was obliged Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod of the Kontinental Hockey League. In May 2011, the Canadians received a contract at HK Dinamo Minsk and took over the 2011/ 12 to the Belarusian citizenship. In January 2013 his contract was terminated prematurely with Dinamo and Linglet joined the National League A for HC Lugano. For this, he completed only eight appearances in the series and is obliged by the end of May 2013 KHL rookie KHL Medveščak Zagreb.
