Charles Mix County is a county in the south of the U.S. state of South Dakota on the border with Nebraska. In County live 9350 inhabitants. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Lake Andes.
Geography
The county has an area of 2979 square kilometers; of which 136 square miles (4.57 percent) of water. It is bordered clockwise to the following other counties: Brule County, Aurora County, Douglas County, Hutchinson County, Bon Homme County, Knox County, Boyd County and Gregory County.
