Charles Saxon
Charles Saxon ( born November 13, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York City; † 6 December 1988) was an American cartoonist and illustrator.
1940 Saxon made his degree at Columbia University in New York City. He was an editor at Dell Publishing Verlag, but soon had to serve as a pilot in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. To 1956, he was a cartoonist for The New Yorker and there drew numerous illustrations, cartoons and title pages. For well-known companies, he produced commercial art and poster designs. His work has been collected in three books.
