Charles Wright (Wrestler)

Charles Wright ( born May 16, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada ) is a former American professional wrestler, best known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation under his former ring name Papa Shango, Kama - The Supreme Fighting Machine and The Godfather.

Career

He began his career as a wrestler on September 16, 1989 in United States Wrestling Association. Here he was on 23 October, the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship belt to win. After some time in Japan and indipendent leagues, Wright went in 1991 to the then World Wrestling Federation. As a result of cooperation between the WWF and the USWA, the USWA Unified Wright was allowed World Heavyweight Championship win in 1993 for a second time.

After a break of almost two years, Wright came back to the WWF in 1995. A short time later he again had a two year break and was then seen again in 1997. On 12 April 1999, he was allowed to win the Intercontinental Championship. In a team with Bull Buchanan Wright also won the World Tag Team Titles.

He finished his career in 2003., But he graduated to date every now and then still single appearances in the WWE.
