Charlie Day
Charlie Day ( born February 9, 1976 in The Bronx, New York City, New York) is an American actor, screenwriter and producer.
Life & Career
Day spent most of his childhood and youth in Middletown (Rhode Iceland ) and graduated from the Portsmouth Abbey School in Portsmouth. He then visited the Merrimack College in Massachusetts.
His acting career began in 2000 in the TV movie Mary and Rhoda. This was followed by guest appearances in TV series like Law & Order or Reno 911! and minor roles in other movies. From 2001 to 2004 he had a recurring role in the television series Third Watch. Since 2005 he plays a leading role in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, including on the side of Danny DeVito and is involved as a writer and producer on the show.
Since 2006 he has been married to actress Mary Elizabeth Ellis. On December 15, 2011 their first child, a boy, was born.
