Charlie Joiner

Charles Joiner Jr. ( born October 14, 1947 in Many, Louisiana ) is a former American football player who was eighteen seasons long an excellent wide receiver in the National Football League ( NFL). He was elected in 1996 to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a Hall of Fame for excellent players.

Joiner graduated in 1969 on the Grambling State University and was in the fourth round to the Houston Oilers gedrafted (obligatory ), where he played until 1972.

He was then obliged by the Cincinnati Bengals, where he played from 1972 to 1975. The next stop of his career were the San Diego Chargers, where he moved in 1975. In San Diego, he spent eleven years and ended his professional career in 1986. The time at the San Diego Chargers coach Don Coryell was among his most successful: the team reached four times the Pro Bowl. Charles Joiner holds the NFL record as a wide receiver with the most matches.

Charles Joiner is currently working successfully as a wide receiver coach. Initially he worked for the Kansas City Chiefs, since 2008 he has been working with the San Diego Chargers.
