Charlie Murphy

Charles Quinton "Charlie" Murphy ( born July 12, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American actor, writer and comedian. He is the older brother of actor Eddie Murphy.

Career

Murphy served until 1984 in the U.S. Navy. He later became known for his performances in Chappelle 's Show fame. There he is seen in extremely ironic skits and told as real designated stories about his time in Hollywood with his brother. Among other things, he played basketball against the musician Prince and cutting himself with Rick James, also a musician ( of Murphy's stories mostly confirmed ). He also moderated the so-called "Lost Episodes " of Chappelle 's Show.

Charlie Murphy is heard as a feature on the song " Church " from the album " Real Talk " by Fabolous.

Charlie Murphy has since July 2007 own TV show on BET called We Got to Do Better, which was renamed due to a controversy ( previously Title: Hot Ghetto Mess). Besides touring Charlie as a stand-up comedian.
