Charlie Palmieri

Charlie Palmieri ( born November 21, 1927 in New York; † September 12, 1988 ibid ) was American pianist and orchestra leader.

Charlie Palmieri, the older brother of musician Eddie Palmieri, collaborated with the likes of salsa and Latin jazz scene such as Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Ray Barretto and Pupi Campo. In the 1970s, he enjoyed success as musical director of the TV show of Tito Puente. In 1988, he was seen as a musician in the movie " Salsa".
