Charlotte McShane

Charlotte McShane ( born August 14, 1990 in Wick, Scotland ) is a Scottish -born Australian professional triathlete on the short and long distance, Xterra U-20 World Champion in 2008 and reigning U23 Triathlon World Champion ( 2013).

Career

McShane grew up in Helensburgh, but moved at age 15 in 2005 in a place near Bairnsdale in Victoria. McShane now lives and trains in Wollongong, New South Wales, her coach is the NSWIS head coach Jamie Turner. Even her younger brother Stephen appreciates Charlotte McShane as a training partner.

2001 McShane and his family went to Kona in Hawaii to cheer her father Frank - since then knew Charlotte McShane, that their future lies in the Triathlon and Kona remains their ultimate goal.
