Charlton, London

Charlton is a working-class neighborhood in the Royal Borough of Greenwich in south-east of the British capital London, to which a part of the Docklands include the river Thames. During World War II the city suffered severe damage. As a neighboring district of Greenwich to Charlton has rather well developed compared to other areas in South East London, but Charlton is still an area with a high crime-rates and above-average unemployment.
