CHARMM ( Chemistry at Harvard Macromolecular Mechanics ) is a collection of force fields for molecular dynamics calculations (MD), which is mainly used for the calculation of ( biological ) macromolecules such as proteins and DNA. It is maintained by the chemistry faculty of Harvard University and further developed in various working groups worldwide. The program is written in Fortran.
