Charo López

Charo López (actually María del Rosario López Piñuelas; born October 28, 1943 in Salamanca) is a Spanish actress.

Life

López turned to the study of Philosophy and Psychology, during which she appeared in university theater, the spectacle and took classes at the " Escuela Oficial de Cinematografía " in Madrid. In 1967, she starred in television series and films; after the breakthrough with Gonzalo Suárez ' Diatrambo several works published under his direction. Even greater success was López, whose photogenic and beauty were praised, in the television series Los Gozo y las sombras 1981 embodied the " Morena Alba ". She worked mt notable directors such as Mario Camus, Vicente Aranda and Pedro Almodóvar together. Between 1987 and 1989 she made some theater projects in Argentina; the stage work intensified López since the mid-1990s again.

The award-winning actress has been in film and television to see to this day in almost 100 roles. Lopez had been married twice; with the author and filmmaker Jesús García Dueñas 1965 to 1971 and with the publisher Carlos Gabetta 1988 to 1993.
