The Col du Chasseral is a mountain pass ( 1,502 m above sea level. M. ) in the Swiss Jura and connects the villages of Saint- Imier and Nods, both in the canton of Bern, with a road on the same mountain range. From the pass, an access road to the highest point of the Chasseral leads ( 1,607 m above sea level. M. ).
The upper portion of the road was operated until 2006 by a Alpweggenossenschaft and was therefore subject to charge. Early 2007, this section of the Canton of Bern has been included in the network of secondary roads and is now used freely.
