Château de la Rochepot

The La Rochepot castle in the French department of Côte- d'Or of the Burgundy region was built in the 13th century on a limestone hill north of La Rochepot (formerly La Roche- Nolay ).

It is located at the point where Alexandre de Bourgogne in the 11th century built a castle predecessor. The buildings were restored in the 19th century by the family Carnot. The castle is still inhabited and open to visitors.
