The Château Haut- Marbuzet is a winery in the Bordeaux vineyards. It is located in the commune of Saint -Estèphe, which is one of four local appellations of the Medoc. The Grand Vin Château Haut- Marbuzet is classified as Cru Bourgeois Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel since 1932 and in the classification of 2003. History

The origins of Château Haut- Marbuzet lies in 1848 was divided as the winery MacCarthy. Vines and Wine

The vineyards of currently about 65 ha are located in the southern part of Saint Estèphe Château Cos d' Estournel and between Château Montrose, both classified as Grand Cru Classé. The Château Haut- Marbuzet and its Rebparzellen are located on a gravel terrace, which rises near the left bank of the Gironde. The proportion of grape varieties distributed to approximately 50 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 40 % Merlot and 10 % Cabernet Franc. The high proportion of Merlot is typical of the wines of Château Haut- Marbuzet and he is unusually high for wines from Saint -Estephe.
