Chaudfontaine is a municipality in the province of Liège in Wallonia in Belgium with a total of 20,944 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012) and an area of ​​25.52 km ². The individual towns are Vaux- sous- Chevremont, Beaufays, Embourg and Francorchamps.

Chaudfontaine ( in German: Hot Spring ) is Belgium's only spa with thermal springs. These are used since 1676. At the beginning of the 18th century attracted Liège cannon manufacturer and gunsmiths in rural areas; this initiated the growth of the place. In 1715 a chapel was built, which served to spa guests and the population as a prayer room.
