The Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at the Glen is a race in NASCAR Sprint Cup and will take place on the track Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York. In addition to the Toyota / Save Mart 350, it is one of only two races on conventional road courses.
Over the years, the race distance was changed several times. So it was the first race of the season in 1957 a total of 101.2 miles in 44 laps with a lap length of 2.3 miles. In the seasons 1964 and 1965, the race distance to 66 laps and a distance of 151.8 miles was extended. After NASCAR returned in the 1986 season after Watkins Glen, to 1991 90 laps were run on the 2.428 miles long course, so that the race distance was 218.52 miles. With involvement of Bullying from 1992, a round was extended to 2.454 miles, so that the race distance is 220.86 miles since then.
