Chemistry (Band)

Chemistry (proper spelling: CHEMISTRY ) is a Japanese duo consisting of singers Yoshikuni Dōchin (Japanese堂 珍 嘉邦) and Kaname Kawabata (Japanese川 畑 要). They were the winners of the Asayan show in 2000, which was organized by Sony Music Entertainment Japan.

Career

The first single from Pieces of a Dream, in CD format, the band released on 7 March 2001. Subsequently, the single went to # 1, the annual Oricon charts in Japan and sold more than 2 million times. In the course of their careers Chemistry published more singles, the number 1, the weekly Oricon charts, could reach. The first five albums have been able to reach the highest position in a row.
