The Chemnitz? / I (from the Sorbian Kamenica, German Steinbach ) is a right and the most important tributary of the river Mulde and namesake of the eponymous Saxon town.

Course

The Chemnitz formed by the confluence of the Würschnitz ( hill creek ) and the larger Zwoenitz ( Zvonica - sounding Bach ) to the south of the city of Chemnitz ( in Altchemnitz district ) and is parallel to the Annabergerstraße to the city core ( Falkeplatz ).
