Chen Ding

Chen Ding (Chinese陈 定, Pinyin Chén thing; * August 5, 1992 in Yunnan ) is a Chinese -goers, which was 2012 Olympic champion in the 20 km walk.

Chen finished the 2008 World Cup skiers in Cheboksary second place in the 10 km walk. The same placement, he scored in the 10,000 meter track Go at the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz. Over 20 km of Chen was fifth in 2010 and 2012, finished ninth at the World Cup.

At the Olympic Games in London in 2012, Chen won the gold medal in the 20 km walk and stood with his winning time of 1:18:46 hours a Olympic record. At the World Championships 2013 in Moscow, he was over 20 km of vice world champion.

Chen is 1.80 m tall, weighs 62 kg and is studying at the Technical University of South China, Guangzhou.
