Chen Wu (Han dynasty)

Chen Wu (Chinese陈 武, Pinyin Chén Wǔ; † 215-217 ) was a general of the Wu Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms in ancient China.

Chen Wu was of grobschlächtigem and repulsive exterior. He began his ministry at the age of 18 years under Sun Ce ( 175-200 ). Chen Wu was very brave and fought always in the front line of battle. He was also known for his pleasant nature: Sun Quan was very weighed him and often spent time at his home. In the Second Battle of Hefei ( 215-217 ) Chen Wu fell on the battlefield in a duel with Pang De.
