The Cher is a river in France, which runs in the Limousin, Auvergne and Centre. Its source is in the municipality of Mérinchal, approximately 715 meters above sea level. The river drains first to the north, then turns towards west and flows after 368 kilometers in the municipality of Villandry, about 20 kilometers west of Tours, in the Regional Natural Park Loire -Anjou- Touraine as a left tributary of the Loire.
